Hey Folks, One of the biggest events of the year is fast approaching, The Berkley B 1 Canadian Bass Open on Lake St. Francis in Salasberry-De-Valleyfield QC on Oct 2nd and 3rd. This year I am partnering up with Lorne Sugrue, he and I did the inaugural event last year finishing 45th out of 120 of Canada's best anglers. This year we are hoping to improve on that finish. The Berkley B 1 puts the best team of anglers in Canada against each other on one of the best fisheries in the area Lake St. Francis. Record weights will be brought during this event. Leaving to pre fish, can't wait to get back out on this lake. I will post pictures on the site and updates on here. Pete

Hey Folks, Well the Berkley B 1 is in the books and a disappointing way to end the tournament season. Planned on prefishing all week but truck problems prevented me from getting down there until Thursday and 1 day of pre fishing for a big tournament like this is not enough. That is proof in our results 3 smallies weighing in at 6.98 lbs. Good enough for 69th place. Yes we made the cut to fish day 2 but decided not to. A very disappointing end to the tournament season for sure. I want to thank Ben Woo, Mike Boudreau, Vickie Schank, Anthony Bedham and the rest of the Berkley B1 staff for a great event. I hope to be there again next year but this time fish out of my boat. Congratulations to the winners. Pete
