This weekend the road warriors are at Talladega. Racing on the super speedway 2 mile track. The favourites are of course the DEI cars. However, other teams have made drastic improvements in their respective restrictor plate programs. So it may not be an easy victory for the DEI cars. Seriously, though we all know that JR is going to win it again. ;D Can't wait until Sunday, Go JR Go #8 Pete

Well, qualifing is over and if there are any other DEI fans out there......"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH THOSE BOYS" JR qualified 36th and Waltrip 38th. The front row is Harvick on the pole and Gordon on the outside. I don't want to hear anything about Gordon. The race isn't over....let's just wait and see what happens. Pete

Well another exciting restrictor plate race at Talladega this afternoon. The winner is unfortunately, Gordon. What most race fans and drivers fear the most on the super speedways is the "Big One" and it happened. A 25 car pile up with 70 laps to go. With 3 laps left another accident, this time taking out a couple of cars. Jr #8, Truex Jr #1, Harvick (pole sitter) #29, Johnston #48 out of the race. The winner and the car to beat all race is #24 Jeff Gordon. Next week they are in Darlington for a Saturday night race. The first time ever for a night race in Darlington. Should be a good race. The track named "too Tough to Tame" is tough enough during the day, at night will just make it that much more interesting. Go JR Go #8 Pete

Jeremy there was never a doubt in my mind! ;D He had the car and HE WENT ALL THE WAY!! He dominated the race by leading the most laps, he kept the field behind him during the last 2 laps....must I go on about his accomplishments??? We Gordon fans are humble and don't like to brag too much. ;D Pete I belive Jr was partly to blame for the 25 car pile up. His tapping and rubbing was a contributing factor to the accident. I didn't say he was totally to blame but he did have some part in it.....was this his way to take out most of the field so he would have a better chance to win Well once again it proves that his cheating will not win him the race Gordon is #1 and he is proving it over and over and over and ..... ;D ;D Kim

For some reason I am suprised at your comments fishin' chic about the 25 car pile up. Saying that JR was part of the cause of the crash. Sounds like a typical Gordon fan to automatically point to the finger at someone else when it was the #48 Lowe's car of Jimmie Johnson that got up in the #4 Wallace car. When Johnson got into Wallace, Wallace checked up but the drafting that was being done by Jr caused him to get into Wallace's rear bumper. The funny part in all of this is that the #48 car is partically owned by Gordon. So his fans (like the whinning cry baby that Gordon is) say that JR bumped into him to cheat. You talk about cheating....usually after the race all the cars come down pit road to get their spoilers measured. The winner however, goes and does his burn outs and then goes to victory lane. Gordon did exactly that but NASCAR officials send him out of victory lane to a NASCAR official on the beginning of pit road to get his spoiler checked because Gordon has been caught before with an illegal spoiler. so you see it's not JR that cheats it's Gordon....Wait didn't he get fined and his crew chief suspended for a couple of races... That's right, Gordon whined enough to NASCAR that his crew chief was not suspended but they were fined. ;D Gordon cheats more than anyone and whines about getting caught. Go JR Go!!! Pete
