Wow nice batch of fish! Pete, that 6.03lb must have made you grin. I can only imagine the feeling of getting one that size in a tournament ;D This was my best from last year (6.8lb) Caught on the Ottawa. More pics of it here: www.neatpage.com/fishing/6point8.htmI don't know how heavy my largest bass was but it was bigger than that 6.8lb measuring with fist in mouth. That came from the Jock River. Went back to the same spot two weeks later and caught her again

Don't cry Jeremy. You can always post the pictures of all the bass your son catches this year during the tournaments. I just hope that like Lorenzo, you are not going to depend on your son to carry you through the entire season Pete

I'm posting on behalf of "fishin chic" She says that they are too small. 2004 was her first year bass fishing so I think that these should be up here for all to see. ;D Here is her other one. She should be proud of them and proud of her accomplishment as a beginning angler. I know that I am Good job Honey!!! Pete

Pete Yes,but somebody needs to be able to put fish in the boat on White Lake too. The reason I was crying about the big bass was I was out on the Ottawa river a couple of years ago(opening day) with a buddy of mine. We had one of the best days of our lives. You know the day there seems to be a bass on every stump(Bay Noir). Anyways we had made a bet for big fish (A coffee and donut) Bob had never caught many bass before went to one of my sweet spots(big fallen tree)told him to cast (12" lizard) under the tree. Sets the hook 6lb 8oz Bass. Makes the comment he like glazed donuts. I respond the days not over yet! We go to this other sweet spot (Rice bed). I cast in a jig and pig. The reeds just shudder fish misses the jig. I pick up my lizard and throw it in the fish comes back out and hits this hard. Fish weighed 7lb 10oz. I never got a picture of it either but have witnesses. So I know how Dom feels? Went back many times after this and never saw the fish again. Jeremy

Lorenzo That's not fare to leave him to operate the boat at the weigh in, while your picture is taken with the bass he caught Jeremy

Jeremy and Lorenzo, You guys are lucky that you can fish with your sons and that they enjoy spending time with you. Right now, Jessica will only fish with me if we are fishing for panfishing. She likes that steady action. She keeps asking me "why don't the bass don't bite like the panfish do? Don't the bass eat" My answer to her is on some days honey, I'm not really sure At least we know that they will carry on the fishing tourch long after we're gone. Happy Fishing to all and to all a good night. Pete

Pete When Jessica takes up bass fishing. Hows it going to feel to be part of the shore crew? Tell Jessica the bass on White Lake bit like panfish for some people! All joking aside fishing with one of your children is the ultimate feeling. They are the future of the outdoors and we need to teach them all to keep our sport alive! Jeremy

Jeremy, That's alright, at least Kim and Jessica would be able to catch fish on that lake. That's ok because I'll get my picture taken with the big fish at the weight. No one will know the difference. ;D I couldn't agree with your more. Kids are the future of fishing and the outdoors. The more they know about it the better everyone will be. Lorenzo, My bites can be pretty bad to Pete

not too sure how to post a pic...but i'll give it a shot. My biggest largemouth came on the spinning rod. It was in grade 3....fishing tubes at the log beside my cottage....never expected one this big. ;D It was a 1/32 oz jig with a smoke coloured tube with red flakes. I'd appreciate a guess on the weight...then I can know what to compare it to the weights of my fish now. heres a link to it...not sure how to post it. www.fish-hawk.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=1&pos=0My next biggest came this summer. It was during my favorite time/type of fishing...evening bass bugging. Caught a TONNE of one pounders but I also caught a hefty 3.4 oz smallie. Pic got erased when some idiot turned on the light at the photolab Although I love bass...I tend to fish for everything and only focus on bass in the evening. Sorry..this is not bass related...but heres my 2005 fish of the year...a 20 inch ausable river brown www.fish-hawk.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=7&pos=44Mike
