I bought some 5" tubes at the Carp show. What are some good ways to rig them?

Marc There are two ways I like to Rig 5"tubes. Texas style with a 7/0 G-lock Hook don't need any weight as they are pretty heavy. The other way is with a 5/0 Lightnin strike hook better know as a pork O hook, Bring it in through the top like your threading it on the hook. Bend in hook should come out were tails start. Your weed guard keeps it in place. I use this a lot for Carolina riggin'. Hope this helps? Jeremy

Marc, Thers is a few ways that I would rig it. 1) You can rig it with a 3/0 or 5/0 Owner Phantom tube jig weedless 2) butt dragger hook with the weight on the outside of the tube. The weight can be moved up or down the shank of the hook for a different falling presentation. In either a 3/0 or 4/0 hook 3) on a Number 1 octopus hook on a drop shot rig with 6 or 8 lbs. test P-Line flurocarbon line. 4) I know that you are going to laugh but wacky rig that bad boy I hope that his gives you some other ideas. Good luck, Pete

Marc, That's what makes a good site. When it's members reply and post questions like yours. It not only makes the site more interesting to read it also helps others out there possibly be better anglers. Pete
