Hey Jeremy, You must be getting excited. Today is the 21st and turkey season starts on Monday the 25th. If you shoot like you did at the Carp show the turkeys will have lots to be worried about. You will have to let us know how it turns out. Best of Luck. Pete

Jeremy, That's too bad. However, it's like you said it was a gorgeous morning As far as I'm concerned, you are having a better day than I am. At least you are outdoors and I'm stuck inside in front of this darn computer You'll get'em on Sunday. Pete

Pete Hunted the Sunday and the Monday still did not hook up with a turkey Sunday was my fault as I had one coming in silent and did not see him till I stood up Do you know how fast one of these birds can run I figure about 350 miles per hr. Ok! Ok! thats what it seems like when you are trying to get an arrow nocked all excited That bird covered 80yds to the other end of the field by the time I had an arrow nocked. Will try again the coming Sunday and Monday. Thats the report of now Jeremy

Pete You know I don't have a problem when the turkey's hang back and will not come in. Even when you sit thier for a hour watching them at about 80yds. Then they finally left. But when your driving home afterwards and have to stop on the road so you don't run over one thats frustrating Boy do I love hunting ;D Jeremy

Hi Gang ! Well for me turkey hunting season has ended without a bird. Had an interesting hunt this morning. Sitting on the tree line at 330am this morning raining off and on. At 0530 looking out over the fields and see 7 deer feeding on the clover in this one spot. Not realizing till he gobbled thier was a turkey in the tree just down from me. I hear wings coming down out of the tree thier are 3 birds 15 yds from me Two hens and a Tom. I patiently wait for the tom to turn around so I can see its beard. It turns around and no beard . In Ontario you can not shoot if you don't see a beard. What an awesome way to finish the season , knowing you had a turkey if only he had a beard. ;D God bless, Jeremy

Isn't that the way is usually is. You can wait all day for a good shot but once you leave the spot and short distance later, they are sitting there in abundance You'll get them next year. Pete
