2007 season start

Hey Folks,

The 2007 season has started on the FLW side of things with the Stren Series Southern Tour in Florida on Lake Okeechobee. Not very many big fish are coming across the stage, which is not normal for the big "O". Lots of 7-11 lbs limits however. Ah yes...to be in Florida fishing. I almost entered the Stren Southeast division this year, now I'm kind of wishing I had. Oh well, only four months until ice out. I can handle the withdrawal shakes and drool until then.

Looks like they got into some bigger ones on day two. Lots of 7, 8, and 9 pounders brought to the scales.

Looks like there was an accident on the big "O" yesterday. A boat collided with some rip rap and he has some serious injuries. www.flwoutdoors.com/article.cfm?id=145276
His co-angler is able to fish today however, the pro neds hip surgery.

With these boats going so fast, accidents can happen at the blink of an eye. Becareful out there.

Gary I was thinking about entering the last event on Santee Cooper the beginning of April.
