Hey Folks,
There presently is a bill being passed in the US that would require all boaters to obtain a polution discharge elimination system permit. This is because the water that gets pumped back into the lake from the motor/bilge and livewells are contaminated. This would cost boaters $800 for this permit.
I know that there are a lot of anglers that fish pleasure/tournaments in the States. This will be something that you will have to get if you wish to bring your boat into US waters.

If this is passed in the US, it will just be a matter of time before something similiar is passed in Canada.
