2007 Youth Flyfishing Report

Here is my full report from Pennsylvania.

It is much different from a bass tournament, but one still gets the intense rush before every session.

Nicely written report my friend , I could almost feel the casts. Long time since I fished on these waters. I think you and the team did well. I'm so happy to have a picture of Four members of the team standing at my house, if only I could have been home

Here is a crazy thought why don't we try to put a team together for the nationals in quebec next year. Your thoughts?

Hey Jeremy,

We are planning on sending a youth team: I, John Bransfield, Simon Wells, David Nonomura and one of John's friends from Alberta. My brother would love to come, but he'll be in University and cannot make it. I am really looking forward to the competiton, even if it is a year away. I am exited that there will be sessions in both Lakes and Rivers. We're heading down in a couple of weeks to pre-fish. I am working hard to perfect my czech nymphing techniques.

Hey Mike,

do they have a website set up that I can check out?

Also I have a very good crane fly. What color do you need and size, I would gladly tie some for you!

Any colours of czech nymphs you need also let me know.

If I have time I might give the competion a try also, with the demands of my ministy and the schooling I'm looking at it might not be possible, but would love to come down and see the team fish and help out .

Thanks a lot for the offer! Hopefully you can make it to compete......it will be during the first week of school, and if you're a teacher it will be tough to make it. We're taking some "sick days" for the competition. .
