Hey Folks, I can't believe that it's already September. Where did the summer go??? I know that some of the best bass fishing is still to come but I find that this summer just flew right on passed us. How was you summer of fishing this year as compared to last season? For me, I still struggled with consistency. Although I received a few pay cheques this year, 1 in BAA and 2 in Renegade. I was hoping for a better outcome performance wise than last year. Although I have to admit that there were a few highs throughout the season. Landing big fish on the Renegade Bass first Ottawa River tournament with my partner Darrell Medaglia. Not just big fish...it ended up being the largest that was caught all year on the Renegade trail. A 6.50 lbs largemouth. The other high also came from the Renegade trail where we finished 2nd with 18.88 lbs and 3rd largest fish with 5.24 lbs on my home lake, Big Rideau. Those have to be the highlights for this season so far performance wise. Although I did get to fish out of the "cadilac" of boats this season. A new 2008 Nitro Z-9, which is for sale by the way. I am looking forward to the remainder of the season with only a few tournament left but I hope to be able to get out and enjoy some of the fall fishing. Pete
