Stephen, If you've ever gone mud pout fishing, you would have used a drop shot rig. This is something within the last 5 years to hit the bass fishing main stream. It's basically a small 1/0 or small hook about 2-4 foot from the end of your line where you would have a sinked tied on. That's basically it. It's just a great way to have your bait suspended from the bottom. The key to this rig to not have such a drastic movement like you would with a Texas or Carolina rig. Pete  |
