Here is a good topic for all.

Confidence Bait v Pattern fishing.

Witch do you think puts more fish in the boat at the end of the day?

Good question Stephen but I would say you can't have one without the other.

If you haven't got a good pattern irregardless of your confidence bait you will not put quality fish in the box.

Although confidence plays a key roll in fishing, the more confidence you have with a bait the better you will work that particular bait. I feel that you need both to be successful.

I agree with Pete. The bait you feel most comfortable with isn't going to do much for you if you are fishing where there's no fish.
