An old Ontario culling rule has reared its ugly head at a recent BASS tournament out of Detroit. Hopefully this won't affect future tournaments in our province. Click on the link below to read about it. bassfan.com/trails_article.asp?id=784Cheers! Gary

Hey Gary, I can't believe that they (MNR) actually wanted that rule enforced. On the 3 tournaments that I have done on boardered CDN/US waters it was never mentioned. This is something that I believe could effect all the boater/non boater format style tournament events in the area. However, team events it won't affect as much because the limit for the 2 with seasonal licenses would be 12 (in Ontario) and most limits in tournaments is 5. Which means that you can cull 7 times. Hopefully, Ontario BASS federation can assist with resolving this issue with the MNR and soon if they are going to start enforcing this rule. Pete
