Hey Folks, Well, this time next weekend and I'll be in the water somewhere wetting a line for the opening of pike/walleye. Is anyone else going out and if so where are you going? Sharewith us where you are going and what you are targeting. Pete

Hey Pete.
Out today on the St. Lawrence for a pike tournament.
We caught three had some follow ups but that was it. Our biggest one was 6.5 lbs
The one that won was just over 10
Going out this comming weekend on clayton for pics, get a snack or two
See you on the water
Andy

Pete, I'll be out as well. I've been travelling the US for the last couple months with work and I'm finally picking up the new boat this coming Thursday. WOOHOO!! I'll be on White Lake Thursday, breaking her in, and then off to the St. Lawrence (likely the 1000 Islands region) for some Pike fishing, then back to White Lake with a buddy for the opening day on Saturday. That buddy, by the way, is Tim Wambolt. I'm sure you remember that name. Good luck with the pike! Gary

Hey Andy, Tournament fishing already. I knew that you couldn't go all season with a new boat and do some tournaments How did the new boat run? Where abouts on the St. Lawrence was the tournament? I figured as much that you would be out on Clayton next weekend. Glad to see that you got out. Pete P.S. I know why you didn't win, you're not a pike fisherman, you're a bass fisherman

Hey Gary, Work, work, work, it never seems to stop. To be honest with you, my boat still has the shrink wrap on it. I was hoping to uncover it this weekend but with the rain that we got yesterday, it really put a damper on that idea. I hope that today is a Little better. Well, now you'll finally have your boat. Congratulations once again. Yes I remember that name. Please say hi to Tim for me and how come we don't hear from him on here. Just remember everyone, safety first. Make sure everyone on board is wearing a life jacket. You don't want to ruin a fun day on the water by someone getting hurt. Good luck and I want to hear all about the following Monday. Pete

Pete,
We don't hear from Tim because he pretty much only fishes with me once in a while, he's more of a golfer, and he's not exactly computer literate either. *lol* He's a fine chef though, and can create meals that'd make you feel you were in heaven...that's what he does for a living.
I'll let you know how the weekend goes, and how the boat runs.
Cheers!
Gary

Hey Pete.
We ran out of lancaster, we went as far as beansville right on the quebec boarder.
The boat ran great, still going through the breakin period so can't run full out all the time yet need to get some cupping done on the prop just not working the way I want it to.
If you want some night you want to go for a fish on clayton give me a call we will go for some eyes. Catch between 20-30 a night, not all keepers though
Where are you headed saturday?
Andy
