Hi,
Can anyone recommend a place to get some good topo maps of Ottawa area lakes such as Mississippi, Rideau, White Lake, etc.?
Thanks.

Hey Gary, The chandlery in Ottawa would have maps for the Rideau system. As for white lake check le barons' for Mississippi Lake, I'm not sure if they still have them but Mississippi John's Marina in Carleton Place use to have a pretty decent one. Hope this helps. Pete

Hey Gary
world of maps off of holland and richmond, they have colour maps of just about every lake in the area and they are only $15.00.
Any topo you would ever need as well

Hey Gary, Mississippi lake association had the best map of Mississippi lake. I don't know if they still make it or not but its 40in X 36in. some of the names are the old ones but I remeber them so they can't be that old There is an internet map place also that you might want to check out. can't remember the name but they are on fishHawk ( Sorry Pete ) here there maps are good and they have them of Muskrat and most of this area. Gary if you like Big smallies you have to check out Muskrat. If you are looking for someone to go with I do alright on Muskrat. Talk to you later, Jeremy

Hi Jeremy, I've checked out the maps on FishHawk. They're actually not very helpful. They have no structural detail on them whatsoever. They're very primitive with little information on them. When bass season opens, I'll be happy to take you up to Muskrat if you show me the muskie spots on the Rideau. I've never fished Muskrat and have been looking forward to it. Gary
