Hot off the presses!!!!!! If you are looking for a new boat for next season? Wait until February 17th to the 19th 2006 at the Bell Sens Plex. Scott Morrison and Jeff Wilcox, owners of Lake and Trail and George's Marine and Sport respectively have put together a fishing boat only show for the Ottawa region. There will be 10 local dealers trying to get you into a new boat for the coming summer. This will be a great opportunity to get some great savings on your new boat. No high price entry fees and proceeds will go to local charity. Click on the link below to see the official website. www.ottawafishingboatsale.com/I hope to see you all there. Pete

YFF, Stop in, I'm sure that we'll be able to set you up with something. As mentioned this will be a good opportunity for anglers to see boats that may not necessarily be at the Ottawa Sportsmen and cottage show. This being a fishing boat show you will be able to get the best deal available. Pete

Hey Pete:
I appreciate the plug. Thanks.
I'm so pumped about this new show. This is the second show of this size that I've been involved with. I can't believe I did another one after I learned the amount of effort required to put on one of these. The logistics, the emails (my fingers are raw :-) ) and everything else that goes with it.
I think its going to be an awesome show. Anyone who is interested in fishing boats is going to have a great time there. Also, its only a $2 admission which should be a pleasant surprise compared to some of the other arm and leg priced shows. Even better is that 100% of the gate admissions are going to the Ottawa Senators Foundation and we're all aware of the great community work they do for Ottawa.
Thanks again, Pete. I hope to see you before the show.
My regards,
Scott

Pete:
I'm looking forward to seeing you at the show. Your name appeared on the Exhibitor list George's submitted to me yesterday!
That's a great collection of boats they are bringing. I'm so excited because I think this is such an awesome opportunity for all kinds of fisherman to see the best available all at one location.
If I may, I'd like to say what Lake and Trail is bringing to the show.
Ranger Z19 with an Evinrude 225 E-Tec H.O. Brand new model Ranger 620 Fisherman with Yamaha F250. Brand new model Ranger 188Vs with Mercury 175 Optimax. Brand new model Ranger 180 Reata Fish 'n Ski with 150 Optimax
Smokercraft 172 Millentia Smokercraft 162 Pro Mag Smokercraft 161 Resorter Smokercraft 14 BigFish Smokercraft 140 Pro Mag Sunchaser 4.0 Fishing pontoon
Lots of great pricing on all of the above.
My staff at Lake and Trail will all be working as will Charles Sim, Terry Holder and Bill Craig (Mr. Muskie Charters). There will be a few others floating in an out as the sale goes on.
Besides George's and Lake and Trail there will be 8 other dealers present.
I invite everyone to stop by for a friendly hello - I'd like to meet you. I'm in a great selling mood and if you are looking for a great boat, I'll write you a great deal! Too many greats, Pete?
What days are you working Pete?
My best regards,
Scott

Hi Scott, I will be at the show all 3 days. Along with Jeff Wilcox and the staff from George's Marine and Sport and Sebastian Bergeron. Really looking forward to this weekend. I hope that you can spare some time and we can chat. I agree that there is going to be a great amount of opportunities available for everyone that is in the market for a new boat. As you mentioned almost every fishing boat and style available will be in 1 area. With spring just around the corner, what a great time to come and check out the latest the marine industry has to offer. Besides, the small entry fee of $2.00 and it goes to local charities, what better way to spend a weekend. See you all there!! Pete

Hey Pete:
The boat show was excellent. There is every boat there that any one could ever want. Like you said the price is right and the parking is great.
I was there on friday night and it was very busy, but I am still not going to buy that 882 nitro. thanks anyway. Maybe if you can work in a freeeeeee four wheeler with that I might be willing to switch.
If you have a chance to go, I would, even if it is just to look it gets the blood pumping for the season soon to be here. Lets you dream a little bit for the future.
Andy

Well the first Ottawa Fishing Boat is now over. It was a really good 3 days. I'm not sure of the numbers from Sunday but after Saturday I believe that the attendance was over 1000 people. I think that is great considering the weather that we had on Sunday. Perhaps, Jeff or Scott could provide us with the final numbers. I had a great time. I got the opportunity to work with some great people from George's Marine and Sports. I also got to meet some new people in the fishing industry as well as some new anglers in the area. As always, it was nice to see some old faces. I'm looking forward to this show next year. Now it's off to the Boat Sportsmen and Cottage show. Once again I will be working along with the staff from George's Marine and Sports. I hope that you can all make it out. Pete
