Hey folks, Finally arrived and will be hitting the water tomorrow to start prefish for the Berkley B 1 Canadian Open bass tournament held out of Lachine QC on Lac St. Louis and Lac Des Deux Montagnes. Really looking forward to this event. Hopefully the weather will hold off for the week and the tournament weekend. Lots of good anglers will be participating in this event. The last time I checked there were 120 teams registered. Anglers coming from Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick. Should be a good event. Stay tuned and I will post updates on my prefishing....no secrets will be mentioned until after the tournament.....of course. Pete

Hey Folks, Well, I'm back from the Berkley B 1. congratulations to the winners. You can find the results at www.wfn.tv/berkleyb1/standings.phpLorne and I had a pretty decent prefish. We thought that we would need a 20lbs bag a day to win and a 15lbs bag to make the cut. The field of 120 boats would be cut down to half after day 1. We were on a smallmouth bite with almost an average of 3 lbs per fish on Saturday. We weighed in 14.10 lbs. Putting us in 41st position making the cut. The cut off weight was 12.65 lbs. Sunday the winds picked up and the bite was off. We had to work a little harder to get out limit on Sunday but we managed a small weight of 9.70 lbs. Good enough for an overall finish of 45th place. Happy that we made the cut and was able to fish with some great anglers. Looking forward to next year's event. I want to thank everyone for their support that I received during this event. It meant a lot. Join Peter Larmand Outdoors on Facebook and follow me on Twitter at ploutdoors Next tournament will be June 27th on White Lake. Kim and I will be fishing that together. Our first tournament together in a couple of years. Until next time, I hope to see you all on the water. Pete
