Well, it's decided now who the final 10 drivers are for the Chase for the Cup. Unfortunately, my driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr didn't make the chase this season. It will be important for them to finish this season strong and to prepare for next season. Other notables that didn't make the chase are #24 Jeff Gordon (thank god...that would have been bad for me.) #29 Kevin Harvick. The sentimental favourite is Mark Martin for me, just because I don't like Rusty. Goes back to the old Intimidator and Rusty rivalery. My other favourite is Tony Stewart. Either way let's hope that it's as close as it was last season. Pete

Man, could Robby Gordon be more of an idiot?? They should ban that guy from racing all together. He's got no talent, wrecks people all the time - either by accident or on purpose, and is not a good ambassador to the sport. Give his spot to someone with the talent and desire to be a true professional. Just had to get that off my chest. Gary

I couldn't agree with you more. Robby Gordon is an idiot and he should be banned from NASCAR. It's quite obvious that he can not compete with the others. This is his second go round with nascar and he couldn't cut the first time as a driver. What makes him think that he can as a driver/owner. I hope NASCAR sits him for the rest of the season. If not that then at least 3 - 5 races. Let's see what NASCAR does. Pete Go Jr GO

Re: What NASCAR does. Not much. A few points and a few bucks. I'm kind of disappointed he didn't at least sit a few races. Gary

For some reason, the rulings that NASCAR makes sometimes make absolutley no sense what so ever. For example fining Dale Jr 25 champioship points for saying the word sh!t. Give me a break. To make matters worse it was during the chase and it was something that he could never recover from. I think NASCAR should start paying more attention to race incidents and levying fines accordingly. Send Robbie Gordon back to the IRL where you don't need to be a good driver, just have good financial backing for a fast car. Just venting. Pete

Pete,
I can understand them fining Jr...you're not allowed to swear, period. But Robby Gordon carried his actions way too far and should receive a much harsher penalty than he did. I agree...send him back to the IRL. That'd be a good spot for him to fade away.
