When fishing a spinnerbait and you want to rip it just under the surface. Squeeze the spinnerbait arms together making the gap inbetween the 2 arms closer together. This will allow the bait to be fished at a much faster retrieve. The opposite is true for when you want to slow roll the bait. Spread the arms apart creating a wider gap between the arms. This will cause the bait to disturb more water when retrieving. If you find that your spinnerbait is rolling when you retrieve it, try fine tuning it. It will help increase the amount of strikes you get. Pete
