Just wondering if anyone has any good rigging ideas for top water rats Any special tricks that you do to the bait before casting it out? Pete

Pete Fill them with pieces of plastic worm, makes them heavier and easier to cast on heavy line. I also bend the hooks up just a bit seems to help hook ups a bit. Jeremy

HI Pete, and yes it sure did I took two of the same baits one with beads and one without. The one without caught 9 fish all in the 1 to 2.3 lbs. The one with beads caught 6 fish but the weight was 2.0 to 4.0 lbs . So not as many but much heavier and looking back on my notes it was the same on 3 out of the 5 bodies of water we fish. I hope this was helpfull.......

That's great. Thanks for that update. I certain cases quantity out weighs quality but since most on here are tournament anglers, the opposite is true. Pete
