Some, most or all of you are probably already aware of this but I'll post it anyways for those that may not know about it. When you tie up hook on a drop shot rig, the hook sometimes twists and turns and you want it to stay as straight out as possible..... Well, don't get angry with it there is a way. If you tie your hook using a palimar knot take the tag end (the end to where you are going to put the weight) and pass it through the eye of the hook 1 more time. This will make the hook stand straight out from the line. Give it a shot the next time that you are tying a drop shot rig. Pete

Pete You can also tie a fly line dropper loop and your hook will never be upside down again. Jeremy
