Hey Folks, The BASS Elite Series in Texas and after 2 days the leader has 79 lbs 13 oz. Aaron Martens is the leader. On the first day he Aaron brought in a 42 lbs bag for 4 fish. On Day 2 Byron Velvick brought in a 5 fish limit weighing in at 41 lbs 11 oz. It's just amazing that to make the top 50 45 lbs doesn't guarantee you a spot. It will be interesting to see if the record weight falls after day 3. Pete

Paul Elias wins in Texas. 132-8 lbs for 20 fish. That's an average of 6.64 lbs per fish. What a tournament. The top 12 guys all finished with over 100 lbs of fish. That is an amazing fishery. That is absolutely amazing. Come on soft water!!! Pete
