Hey Folks, I just want to say congratulations to Doug Dolan and Mark Boisclair for winning the tournament on Mississippi Lake and for being this year's Renegade Bass Team of the Year. Also, want to congratulate the other 29 teams that qualified for this year's classic on the Ottawa River. Congratualtions to all. Pete

Pete,
Sorry to see you didn't quite make the cut for the Classic. You guys gave it the ol' college try though and had a year you can be proud of. Now that the best fishing of the season is soon upon us, go out and cast a line for fun.
Cheers!
Gary

Thanks Gary. We did work hard this season. However, I'm just having a hard time swallowing what transpired at the last tournement. Only weighed in 3 fish. The results doesn't resemble the effort that was put forth for this last tournament. We will go ack through our notes and see where we could have improved and see where we succeeded. It's going to be a long winter. Already looking forward to next season. Thanks for all the support Gary and to all that support us. On behalf of Darrell, Pete

Pete, Well, that sometimes happens. Look at the Elite Series tournament this past weekend. Not a limit was caught by the top 6 on the last two days. Shaw Grigsby was leading going into the final day and zeroed on the last day. If it can happen to them... I know it's tough to swallow sometimes, but as they say, that's fishin'. Gary

You're right Gary. It can happen at any time and that's why it's calling fishing and not catching....right?? We'll put it behind us and move forward. Chalk it up to experience. Thanks Gary. Pete

Hey Pete, Sorry to see you did not make it. It happens to all of us. Speaking of working hard, I was so disapointed with the result John and I got on Rideau river. When I had been pre fishing had huge smallmouth all over the place and good largemouth 4 and 5lbs. Look what we weighed in 4 lbs and only two fish Add insult to this I went out on sunday fishing with Joshua we caught two smallmouth that weighed 4.5lb and 5.6lbs. Joshua caught three largemouth that weighed 2.5lbs , 2.7lbs and 3.4lbs. On a spot John and i fished the day before with the same baits We also caught 6 walleye that came home with us for the frying pan. Pete, you and Darryl did great for a first year together, you should be proud. I think if would have been close if you had caught the limit. Did you realize it took 61+lbs to qualify? That means 12lbs per tournament average or your average fish needed to weigh 2.4lbs? That's good fishing and no room for error? Looks like John and I have our work cut out for us next year just to qualify? We are all proud of Pete and Darryl ;D The Parker Clan P.S. Hi Pete!!
