I don't know if there is a typo on the bassmaster website but if not, what a 3 day total catch. The winner of the amateur side brought in a 3 eay total of 92 + lbs. Unless I'm reading it wrong, that is an incredible catch. He caught a limit of 5 fish for a weight of 29+ lbs on Saturday and winning by some 25+ lbs ove the 2nd place finisher. Incredible It's nice to some of the old veterans doing well in these events. Zell Rowland heading into the last day in 2nd place. I spent a week with Zell Rowland last year on the Santee Cooper reservoir and he is a realy nice guy and a class act. It's nice to see him doing well. Other mentionables are Gerald Swindle (my day 1 partner at Santee Cooper) competing in the final 6 today. Rick Clunn ( my choice for greatest angler debate) finishing 7th. I just hope some day that my name will be mentioned in the same breathe as those mentioned above. I can't wait

Zell Rowland wins BASS event on lake guntersville. A win for one of the good ole boys. Again, it's nice to see a win come from one of the guys that made tournament fishing what it is today.
